Daly Angkor, the BYOB restaurant that serves Cambodian, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, will open in Bryn Mawr on April 27 at 845A West Lancaster Avenue.

The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner. Offerings range from the Vietnamese noodle soup Pho to Kabobs (Cambodian) to Chicken Curry (Thai). Owner Bory Meas said she makes all of her own sauces from scratch.

Meas, who was born in Cambodia, recently sold her restaurant with the same name in Quebec, Canada. What made her move to the area? "Destiny," she responded.

The name of the restaurant comes from her daughters' names (Thyda and Somaly) and the Temple Angkor Wat, a symbol of Cambodia.

Daly Angkor features a corner where you can eat in Cambodian style—on comfortable mats on the floor. You can recline as you wait for your food and sit up when the food comes and eat on low tables.
