This Kain Tenun (Hand Woven big scarf) is made of natural resources. It's made by old ladies in the exotic island of Nusa Penida in Bali with a weaving tools from bamboo and woods, the skillful hands will put one by one the dying threads to perform motives as they imagine. The dying is from the leaves of plants as jack fruits for red color, "pandan" to get green dying, etc.
The maintenance of a songket or tenun (hand woven) is simple, as long as, it's not being washed with detergent and drying away from the rays. You just need to hang it and get some fresh air, then the songket will be long lasting up to 3 generations or more
