This Kain Tenun (Hand Woven Songket) is made of natural materials. The threads are ordered from specific cotton, stronger in the dying or strength. 1 product consists of 1 small scarf, 1 kain/songket for a lady, and 1 smaller size for a gentleman. At the past, this songket was made for a royal ceremonial or cultural occassion. Now, besides that occassion, it's worn as the elegant profile for attending the wedding of a family's member, friends', or any other high profile celebration. The concentration of a lady who is weaving the songket depends on her mood, interrupted of a small distraction will ruin the whole product in a vain. The quality of a product is very much noticed, and so, the songket will be 200 hundred years old or more in an age time. It's just produced from the skillful hands on wooden tools as the "product machinery".
The maintenance of a songket is simple, as long as, it's not being washed with detergent and drying away from the rays. You just need to hang it and get some fresh air, then the songket will be long lasting up to 3 generations or more
