Product detail: Disc filter’s filter disc is the support of impurities treatment. It is composed of a set of plastic discs of different direction groove with different direction superposed. The groove edge near face is formed many cross points. These cross points compose many cavity and irregular path. These path is narrowing from outside to inside. When filtering, these path is formed turbulent flow. Finally these make impurities in water block on each cross point. If install discs on the filter skeletons, it will form filter unit its out side loose and inside is tight under the action of spring and water pressure. Each filter unit is formed many filter which impurities can not go through by compaction of spring and water pressure. The width of disc is 12-14mm. The material is high quality engineering plastics which is high wear resistance. With stainless steel spring supporting is solid structure. The water wash impurities on surface along inside tangent direction of disc from inside to outside. Disc rotate under the backflushing action which make all dirt is cleaned and discharged. Use time interval and pressure difference to control the all backflushing processing. After setting, it can be used long time. Automatic backflushing can finish whole backflushing process in seconds in the condition of no breaking working. Filter used this filtration can be changed of disc clearance dynamic when filtering and backflushing. It is good for improving filter performance and filtration water. Also it can reduce water consumption of backflushing. Normal water consumption is about 0.25%. The different depth and quantity of groove on disc decide filtration precision of filter unit.

Operation principle of filtering process

Water flows through inlet into filter. It is compressed by the action of spring and water power when go through filter disc. Impurities is blocked on the cross point of disc. The water filtered flow from main path of filter. And now unidirectional diaphragm valve is opening.

Operation principle of backflushing process
When achieve a pressure difference, system go into backflushing mode automatically in a time, control valve change the direction of water. The unidirectional diaphragm valve at the bottom of filter will close main path. Backwash will go into four set nozzles path and water pressure in the piston cavity which link with nozzle path will be increased. Piston moves up to prevent the pressure of spring to disc. And it releases the space of piston on the top of disc set. Meanwhile backflushing water sprays in a high speed along tangent direction of disc from 35*4 pcs nozzles in 4 sets nozzles path. Which make disc rotate and evenly separate. The water wash the surface of disc which throw the impurities blocked on disc. When the backflushing process is over, the direction of water will change again. Disc will be compressed again. System will go into filter mode again.
