Product detail:The Minahasa is a pre-cut, two-story house that is fabricated from Nyato wood & Local Iron Wood, a tropical hardwood from Indonesia. The standard shell includes an open ground floor with posts and an enclosed second floor with open ceiling over the living and dining areas. Optional roof coverings can include thatch, ironwood shingles, recycled corrugated and metal. Variations on site location and topography make this a highly flexible building plan that can be effective on steep hillsides and/or multistructure clusterings. The name, "Minahasa", comes from the indegenous people of the North Sulawesi region. Easily assembled, the Minahasa sells for approximately $30 - $35 per square foot.
