Product detail:
Avantguard 3 layer UPVC roofing is suitable for residential canopy use and as commercial warehouse and factory roofing requirements.
Formulated by our own R&D department and using the best additives from Germany and Japan, Avantguard is guaranteed to withstand the harshest tropical UV exposure and the most unforgiving corrosive environments such as chemical industries, food processing, paper processing or factories or buildings along coastal areas.
Using a composite of 3 layers of UPVC materials, Avantguard has achieved its advantages over zinc/aluminum roofing and polycarbonate sheets through the following process
1) The first layer of Avantguard is treated with maximum UV additives to protect the roof from rapid discoloration, chalking and disintegration for over 15 years. It is also here where the most resilient color pigments are added.
2) The second layer is foamed to increase strength as it adds a matrix of cellular structure as well as providing insulation from the suns heat. Temperature difference of 3 degrees was recorded during testing and no temperature difference between the use of Avantguard and Zinc/aluminum roofs using 5cm rock wool insulation.
3) The third layer aids the compression of the material increasing the strength of the roof
Other advantages of Avantguard include its ability to be easily shaped and suitable for dome shaped buildings without additional forming. It is also fire resistant thus safe for use near flammable materials.
