We are Alang-alang Roof (Thatched Roof) producer, supplier and assembler. We also do custom-order bamboo structures. We are located in Br. Wirabhuana, Kerobokan Kelod, Kuta Utara, Bali. Our alang-alang material is harvested directly from own dry land in Lombok.
Our product has been shipped internationally to Maldives, some Polynesian Island and Malaysia.
Currently we produce up to 25.000 sheets of alang-alang monthly and we supply to local trading company, villas/ hotels owners wihtin Indonesia and abroad.
To order Alang-alang from DG Bali Alang-alang, just email us the pictures of the building roof plan and our staff will calculate how many pieces of alang-alang would be needed, how many ambengan (weeds that have not bound) is required for the ridge (peak), how many binding bamboo rope is needed and how much the cost of transportation to the destination. DG Bali Alang-alang will also provide experts to install the roof at the location on separate cost. Likewise with the bamboo structures.
For outside of Bali areas such as Jakarta and Bandung for example, transport costs will be IDR 4 to 4.5 million per 1 Fuso truck which can carry 1000 sheets of thick alang-alang and up to 1400 sheets of thin alang-alang. Travel time will take 3-4 days.
For shipments to other countries, such as Malaysia for example, DG Bali Alang-alang will recommend Cargo. All kinds of documentation such as Fumigation, ISPM, Endorsement, until Packing will be handled by the Cargo. The cost of shipping to Malaysia for example, for 20 feet containers, Pasir Gudang Port charges USD 2000 per container.
To sum up, DG Bali Alang-alang has been in Alang-alang Roof business since 1999 hence our experiences in Alang Roof installation and restoration are beyond question.
