Biryani, biriani, or beriani is a set of rice-based foods made with spices, rice (usually basmati) and meat, fish, eggs or vegetables. Beriani was originated in Iran (Persia). Local variants of this dish are not only popular in South Asia but also in Arabia and within various South Asian communities in Western countries.
It is commonly served with Rendang and Dhal Curry especially during wedding receptions of Muslim Malays community. Nasi Beriani is actually an Indian food. The Chinese, Indians and the Malays cook Nasi Beriani differently and they taste differently too. Most are served with side dishes. It is one of the hardest dishes to prepare and require so many ingredients.
The ingredients divided in to three (3) parts which consist ingredients for the Beriani rice, dhal gravy and Beriani gravy. Consumers only have to follow the instruction carefully and the dishes can be prepared nicely.
The Beriani dishes are suitable for lamb, meat or chicken. Fresh vegetables for Dhal Curry are potato, carrot or brinjal.
Each Nasi Beriani kit suitable for serving 8 to 10 persons serving.
