The classification is done by measuring the central height of the bird nest cup.

Class A : 4cm and above

Class B : 3cm to 3.9cm

Class C : less than 3cm

 

Fan-dried bird nest:

It weighs between 4 gram up to 8 gram. There are 3 classes:-

i. Super Class A bird nest cup - 5.5 gram and less;

ii. Super Class AA bird nest cup - more than 5.5 gram up to 6.5 gram;

iii. Super Class AAA bird nest cup - more than 6.5  gram.

 

It looks smaller and lighter than the average bird nests available in the market because it is 100% pure and without addition of any foreign materials.
