Product detail:
PARAFINN WAX - SUBSTITUTE
Parrafin is one of the most common types of wax used in
various industries from Candle making, rubber industries, textile, paper,
pharma, cosmetics,leather, food etc.
Though petroleum waxes are not referred to as "natural", they are derived from the decomposition of
organic matter and contain 15% hydrogen and 85% carbon.
Lube oil production is the source of petroleum wax. Only a small percent of crude oil gets
produced into lube oil. Of that, only a small percent is wax.
Petroleum waxes typically range from C10H38 to C50H102;
Paraffins going to C33H68 followed by micros and petrolatums.
Petroleum wax has the generic formula CnH2n+2.
It is essential that we find affordable and workable sources of alternative product before the world
completely consumes the already limited stock of fossil fuels / oils.
There is a strong consumer need and demand for alternative natural waxes as an option to paraffin
waxes that can be produced at a rate that is cost competitive with natural and renewable sources.
Accordingly, it would be advantageous to have other materials which can be used in all the places
where paraffin waxes are being used.
With both a renewable resource and biodegradable, our VEGAFINN waxes are made from pure vegetable
sources including palm and are environmental friendly, economically advantageous alternative to
paraffin wax.
VEGAFFIN - Waxes as a vegetable replacement for a mineral product, comes in different grades
like paraffin wax grades with same physical characteristics,in terms of melting point,
hardness and/or malleability suitable for various industries.VEGAFFIN-Waxes have the characteristics of,
paraffin waxes and therefore a very useful substitute for paraffin wax.
As it is essential that we become less reliant or not reliant at all on Petroleum derivatives, vEGAFFIN
can replace praffin wax in a wide variery of its applications.
