Carrageenans are water soluble gums which occur in certain species of seaweeds.Extracted from Euchema Cottonii, Euchema Spinosum, and Chondrus Crispus.It provides different textures, solubility, synergies, gel strenght,gel setting and gel temperature.It gives the ability to form variety of different gels at room temperature. Small amount of carrageenan has big effect on overall properties of final products. Carrageenan has a broad range of application including in beer, meat, milk and dairy,chocolate milk,water dessert jellies, air freshener, pet food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
