The hardware setup cost for the CMS is kept at minimum with just a normal PC plus a TMA-T35i GSM modem. No proprietary or expensive equipment is needed. TMAS PC Manager has device database, user database and report management functions. It is scalable to support as many TMAS devices as per required. Therefore, the key benefit of having this CMS solution is to save significant cost in operation and routine maintenance for the service providers especially when the monitored sites are scattered across countrywide.
Should the entire wireless CMS malfunction or breakdown, TMAS GSM telemetry devices at remote sites will be still operating as per normal to alert any authorised mobile users.
For a more complex deployment especially involving multiple parties and vendors, the service provider can choose TMAS web based application instead of the default TMAS PC Manager for internet enabled features.
