Piperine is often added to prepared food to enhance aroma and flavor.It can Promote drug absorption, and improve the effectiveness of the drug function. In clinical practice, it can induce calm (sedative effect) or to induce sleep (hypnotic effect), and used to make anticonvulsant, antidepressant, and muscle relaxation drug.

Description of piperine

a) Piperine is a kind of alkaloid extracted from pepper fruit. High-purity piperine is needle-shaped or short rod-shaped light yellow or white crystal powder.
b) Resent medical studies have shown piperine to be very helpful in increasing the absorption of certain vitamins such as Selenium, Vitamin B and Beta-Carotene. Piperine apparently has the ability to increase the body's natural thermogenic  and in turn creates a demand for nutrients necessary for metabolism.
