ITEM: CARBORUNDUM 

 

1.The HRC of GC is between the one of fused alumina and diamond;

2. Mechanical strength is greater than fused alumina;

3. High purity, Fragile. Hardness is 3288-3400 kg/mm2;

4. Physical properties is similar to black silicon carbide.

5. Good thermal conductivity and electrical properties.

 

 

    Carborundum ( C ) is widely used to make coated or bonded abrasives , refractory, special ceramics, foam ceramic , etc. .

    That also used for coating plastics additives, auto parts, military industry products, aviation industry products, etc.
