1.Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum

antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against

a large number of gram-positive and

gram-negative organisms ,also against

chlamydia,rickettsia,mycoplasma,spirochete.

2.The bacteriostatic effect is based on the

inhibition of the synthesis of bacterial proteins .

 Equine, cattle, sheep, goat and camel:Infections 

caused by micro-organisms sensitive for 

Oxytetracycline, like respiratory infections,

Dysentry, Footrot, Shipping fever,Blue comb, Gastro-enteritis, Urogenital-tract infections, Metritis, CRD(Chronic Respiratory Disease), Mycoplasmosis,

 Mastitis, Salmonellosis and Liver abcesses.
