Ah Bedoyo Ketawang that is, mother of all bedoyo dances in Java. Where every bedoyo comes from. Now so many different types of bedoyo. So colorful. So different from each other. Yet all of them are bedoyo.

ps. Just to give you a sense of understanding of what bedoyo is. Bedoyo is a type of palace dance, which is usually done by 9 female dancers. There are also those danced by 7 girls, but that’s not very common. There are also a few, which are danced by males, which is not typical, however.
