Preparations

the surface of the steel pipe to be coated with Bitumen based Coating Enamel shall be wire-brushed to remove all surface rust, millscale and loose materials. Immediately after wire brushing, the surface shall be wiped clean and dry, then apply a layer of coating [ Bituminous Primer BS 4147:1980 -Type A grade B ] and allowed to dry.

 

Applications

Bitumen Based Caoting Enamel is heated slowly to the application temperature of 220 degrees to

250 degrees celsius and is not recommended to be heated a temeperature exceeding 270 degrees celsius. 

 

Packaging

In bags[ both local and export market] - nicely packed in plain kraft paper bags of 40kg

In mould slap [ local market] - 12kg. -

 

Both are palletized in wooden pallets.
