Our company, MM Vitaoils Sdn Bhd is a manufacturer of quality edible oil products such as Cooking Oil, Margarine, Pastry Margarine, Shortening and Vegetable Ghee.
We are registered with the U. S. Food & Drug Administration pursuant to section 305 of the United States Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, P. L. 107-188, such registration having been verified as currently effective on the date hereof by FDA Registrar Corp. U. S. FDA, Registration No. : 18806020238.
Health issues have always been a major concern for us in MM Vitaoils. With the current concern over trans fatty acids, MM Vitaoils products is a healthy choice as it is free from Trans Fatty Acids. Trans fatty acids produced during the hydrogenation of vegetable oils have consistently been reported to raise the LDL-cholesterol and reduce the beneficial HDL-cholesterol. In addition, strong epidemiological evidence also indicates trans fatty acid intake is associated with an increased risk of coronary heart diseases. Mm Vitaoils production process DOES NOT use hydrogenation and thus it is free from trans fatty acids.
Palm oil is Cholesterol Free just as any other vegetable oils. Palm oil and palm oil products are naturally occurring sources of antioxidant vitamin E constituents, tocopherols and tocotrienols. These natural antioxidants act as scavengers of damaging oxygen free radicals and are hypothesized to play a protective role in cellular aging and cancer. Our Cooking Oil made of palm olein is a major source of carotenoids due to its golden color which effectively inhibits some types of cancer. It also has been shown that the tocotrienols present in palm oil inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
MM Vitaoils, which is located in Shah Alam, is certified for ISO 9001 2000, HACCP and GMP by SGS. We are the only edible oil producer awarded with the BRANDLAUREATE AWARD for the WORLDS BEST BRANDS IN THE Asia PACIFIC for BEST BRANDS CONSUMER PALM OIL 2006 2007 award.
MM Vitaoils has the most modern plant in Malaysia with a total monthly combined capacity in excess of 12, 000 metric tons per month for cooking oil, margarine, pastry margarine, shortening and vegetable ghee. Our plant has the advantage of packing our products in different packaging materials such as nylon pouch bags, tubs, cans, jerry cans, pet bottles, carton box, steel and plastic drum in various sizes and flexitank. Our capability in producing versatile packing sizes, ranging from 10 grams to 20 MT, enables us to encompass a wide market, from household consumers to the food industries.
We are very committed in our down-stream palm oil business and therefore have a fully equipped laboratory to furnish our Research and Development undertakings and quality assurance procedures. We are supported by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) in terms of technical advice. Our dedication and commitment to quality and reliability has earned us the confidence and trust of a wide range of clientele.
