AnnAik Limited (Registration No.: 197702066M) was incorporated in Singapore on 24 September 1977 under the Singapore Companies Act.

It commenced operations as a stockist and distributor of general hardware products with a staff size of three in a rented shophouse. At that time， the Company sold and distributed mainly plates， sheets， rods， tubes and angle bars that were made of copper， brass， bronze or carbon steel. As a stockist and distributor， the Company imported its products from places such as Japan and Taiwan. Its customers then were mainly other stockists and re-sellers based in Singapore.

In the early 1980s， AnnAik made a strategic move to specialise in the sale and distribution of stainless steel products as there was less competition and the profit margin was higher.
