Indications:

Prophylaxis, treatment of Vitamin C deficiency.

-Enhancing immune response in infectious diseases; healing wound,

-Treatment of fatigue,during influenza or convalescence.

-Antioxidant agent: contribution to the risk reduction ofcardiovascular disease, cataract

Dosage:

Dissolve the tablet in 200in 1 ofwater.-Adults: 1 tablet daily,-Children: 1/2 tablet daily

Contra-indications:

Prolonged use of large doses ofVitamin C is contraindicated in: patients with G lucose- 6'pho spbate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency,patients with history of renal calculi, hyperoxaluria, and primary oxalosis, patients with thalassemia.

Adverse Effects:

Digestive disorders (gastric burning, diarrhea), -Hyperoxaluria Inform your doctor about side-eftects when using this medicine

Precautions & Warning:

-Due to a mild stimulant effect, it is preferable not to take the drug at the end ofthe day or empty stomach. -Ifuntoward symptoms occur as a result of overdose, discontinue use ofAscorbic acid. -Use with cautions in pregnant women who are taking high-doses.

Interactions:

-Concurrent administration of Vitamin C and Aspirin is known to result in increased urinary excretion of the former and decreased excretion ofthe latter -Coadministration ofVitamin C and Fluphenazine may lead to decreased Fluphenazine plasma concentration. -Concurrent administration ofmore than 200mg of Vitamin C per 30mg ofelemental iron increases Absorption of iron from the G1 tract. -Avoid concomitant administration of large doses o f Vitamin C with Vitamin B12 because it is known that Vitamin C may destroy substantial amount of Vitamin B12 in vitro.

Shelf life:

-24 months from the manufacturing date. Never use after the expiry date clearly indicated on the outer packaging.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light.
