ITEM: Green Carborundum Grit
1.The HRC of green carborundum is between the one of fused alumina and diamond;
2. Mechanical strength is greater than fused alumina;
3. High purity, Fragile. Hardness is 3288-3400 kg/mm2;
4. Physical properties is similar to black silicon carbide.
5. Good thermal conductivity and electrical properties.
Green carborundum, also called green silicon carbide (GC), is widely used to make coated abrasives or bonded abrasives. Green carborundum grit also is used to produce advanced refractory products, electric products, electronic devices, etc.
The workable material by green carborundum grinding wheel:
1. Hard alloy, glass, ceramic and non-metallic materials;
2. Semiconducting material, high-temperature silicon carbide heating element, far infrared source base material, etc.
The company supply top-grade green carborundum (sic 99%), the types are F-series (F12 to F1500), JIS-series (JIS240-JIS10000). Carborundum grit size is from 12# to 80#, carborundum powder size is from 80# to 2000#, the most finely ground is 0.5um.
