Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM)

1.Characteristics:

Cationic polyacrylamide is a kind of soluble high molecular weight polymer or polyelectrolyte.Having several polar groups in the molecular chain.It can form bridge among particles by absorbing suspended solid particles in wastewater and condense into big flocs by neutralizing charges.Therefore,it can speed up sedimentation of particles in suspensions and excels in speeding up purification of solutions and promoting filtration and so on.

2.Applications

1. As flocculant, it can be used for the treatment of domestic sewage and organic waste water, such as ethyl alcohol, paper making, aginomoto factory, sugaring, and forage, printing and dyeing textile.etc. 

2. It can be used as drying and strengthening agent, retention agent, filter agent in paper making industry, for white wastewater treatment, too. 

3. It can be used as the clarifier of waste water in mining and coal washing industry. 

4. It can be used for the treatment of dyeing, leather and oily wastewater.

5. It can be used as oil chemical agent, such as anti-clay swelling agent, acidic gelatinizer. etc.
