Cinnamon oil, commonly known as Cinnamon essential oil is extracted from the cinnamon tree or Cinnamomun cassia blume. This tree is an evergreen three found largely in China and Vietnam that has since been cultivated in many other regions too. Shiny, leathery green leaves, and small, white flowers with oval shaped purple berries is the identification of this ever green three from where Cinnamon oil is extracted through a steam distillation process. Cinnamon essential oil has also been described in the Bible to be an extensive reference of medicinal plants of that particular time in history.
