Omnipol TX is a difunctional thioxanthone photoinitiator specifically designed for use in inks requiring low migration and low volatility. It is particularly suited to use in offset printing inks as an alternative to Omnirad ITX (isopropyl thioxanthone) in combination with other photoinitiators and amine synergists.
Omnipol TX has no known by-products following UV curing. When used correctly the level of migration from this photoinitiator is typically below 5ppb according to the EU migration food model of 1Kg food in contact with 600cm2 of print.
