Intended for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Warfare (CBRN) decontamination exercise, Stealth Glow comes in a spray fitted bottle containing inexpensive and non-hazardous fluorescent solution, which is safe to use on any material including human skin. It is used to test the preparedness of emergency plans and personnel.
Currently available chemical training kits do not fully meet the training needs for the CBRN community because many cannot be used on humans or lack the fidelity of the desired agents physical properties. Stealth Glow is developed to overcome all these while maintaining competitiveness in cost.
The simulants are safe and non-toxic to both clothing and the skin. The chemical simulants mimic the relative vapor pressure and solubility characteristics of typical chemical warfare agent. Using the Stealth Glow, responders learn how to engage in decontamination exercises, cordon off affected areas, attend to victims, and use an ultraviolet torchlight to identify contamination.
Stealth Glow is unique as it can be used effectively with both decontamination procedures, i.e. soap and water, or Fullers Earth. Used with UV illumination, a fluorescent taggant makes the simulant visible to the trainer, who can easily and effectively evaluate the trainees performance.
Stealth Glow is water-based and odorless.
It does not containany toxic or corrosive ingredients. Generally safe on your skin and clothing.
Stealth Glow allows for real life training
