Lemang is made of glutinous rice and coconut milk, with salt added for taste. Wrapped in banana leaves and inside a bamboo, and left to be barbecued / grilled on an open fire, to make the taste and texture tender and unique. Best serves with Rendang (spicy dry meat), Curry Chicken, Tapai (traditional fermented food), Kaya (coconut egg spread).
