Description of Condensation cure RTV-2 silicone rubber for molding

Condensation cure, tin cure liquid silicone, RTV 2 mold making silicones are generally named as two-part silicone rubbers which vulcanise, or cure, at room temperature. Part A is a dynamic liquid silicone/Part B is the curing agent (tin catalyst).

Main applications of Condensation cure RTV-2 silicone rubber:

Construction of moulds for gypsum, soap, candles, concrete, resin products, artificial (very lightweight) stone, wax or custom moulds;

Decorative building moulds (cornice, column, balustrade, ceilling roses, pedestals,  fountains, mantels, wall ornament, planter etc;

Resin crafts, epoxy resin crafts, poly resin crafts, polyester resin

Physical properties of Condensation cure RTV-2 silicone rubber :

Advantages of our Condensation cure RTV-2 silicone rubber:

exceptional fluidity and good operability, easy to demold.
Cures at room temperature within 3-4 hours (assuming constant temp of 25 degrees C).
Good tensile and tear strength, low shrinkage (<0.3%)
High duplication levels or longevity
Good resistance to weather, temperature, aging, acid.
Long shelf life (10 months at least) if kept at constant temperatures.

Storage of RTV-2 silicone rubber

RTV-2 silicone rubber is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about 9 months from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
