When the two material are mixed together,the silicones base and curing agent can cure into a silicone mold by a condensation/addtion reflection in the room temperature.Then the silicones mold can be poured/brush on the following material for duplication:GRC,plaster,resin,cement,gympsum, polyurethane,PU,polyester etc.

Applications of RTV-2 Liquid Silicone Molding Rubber 

RTV-2 silicone rubber can be applied in many objects mold making, since the RTV-2 silicone has good flow ability and medium hardness, and the silicone can cure at room temperature, thus it's a good material for duplication.

RTV-2 Silicone rubber can be used for artificial stone mold making. For example, RTV2030, RTV2066 and RTV2088 silicone.

RTV-2 Silicone rubber can be applied in candle and soap mold making, such as RTV215 and RTV218 silicone.

RTV-2 Silicone rubber can be used for plaster mold making, such as RTV2025, RTV2028 and RTV2030 silicone.

Why does the RTV liquid silicone rubber for molding have few mold making times?

The silicone rubber mold has few molding times is due to follwoing reasons: adding too much silicone oil which will destroy the molecular of silicone rubber; making the mold for small and fine detailed products with higher hardness silicone rubber which is easy to break; making the mold for large products with soft silicone rubber which will reduce the tensile and tear strength of the mold, and the mold will have deformation. Thus, we should take the proper silicone rubber to make the mold for suitable products.
