Introduction of RTV Silicone Rubber for Stone Mold Making:
MC RTV Silicone Rubber for Stone Mold Making is a kind of two-component material. The RTV-2 silicone rubber is made up of Part A base silicone and Part B CA curing agent. The Part A base silicone and Part B CA curing agent can cure at room temperature by a condensation reaction, after full cure, it become a cured silicone mold. The silicone mold can be cast the following materials for reproduction: plaster, polyurethane, PU, GRC, cement, resin, polyester, wax etc...
Applications of RTV Silicone Rubber for Stone Mold Making
MC RTV-2 silicone rubber for moldmaking can be applied in many objects mold making, since MC liquid silicone rubber has good flow ability and medium hardness, and the silicone can cure at room temperature, thus it's a good material for duplication.
RTV-2 Silicone Rubber can be used for artificial stone moldmaking.For example RTV2030,RTV2066 and RTV2088 silicone.
RTV-2 silicone rubber can be appliied in candle and soap moldmaking, such as RTV215 and RTV218 silicone.
RTV-2 silicone rubber can be used for plaster moldmaking, such as RTV2025,RTV2028 and RTV2030 silicone.
RTV-2 silicone rubber can be applied in the field of shoe sole moldmaking, for example, RTV3010 and RTV3015 silicone.
RTV-2 silicone rubber can be used for prototyping and electronic potting.
MC RTV2088 silicone rubber is especially for the moldmaking of manufactured stone,artificial stone or cultural stone.

Why does the RTV liquid silicone rubber for molding have few mold making times?
The silicone rubber mold has few molding times is due to follwoing reasons: adding too much silicone oil which will destroy the molecular of silicone rubber; making the mold for small and fine detailed products with higher hardness silicone rubber which is easy to break; making the mold for large products with soft silicone rubber which will reduce the tensile and tear strength of the mold, and the mold will have deformation. Thus, we should take the proper silicone rubber to make the mold for suitable products.
