ntroduction:

Eastern Dragon Charcoal Factory aims at being one of the biggest manufacturers of activated carbon in China which has 3 activated carbon base including the coconut activated carbon base, wood activated carbon base and coal activated carbon. Eastern Dragon Charcoal Factory is using the high quality coconut charcoal as raw material from Indonesia and adopting the Germany technology by the most advanced SLEP furnace. The product is with high iodine& hardness, low ash and high specific surface area.

Coconut activated carbon is extensively used in the process of refining and bleaching of vegetable oils and chemical solutions, water purifications, recovery of solvents, recovery of gold, in gas masks for protection agains toxic gases, in filters for providing adequate protection against war gases/nuclear fall outs, ect.

Production progress:

1. Carbonizing the coconut shell to be charcoal under the process which is usually carried out in mud-pits, brick kilns and metallic portable kilns.

2. Activating the coconut charcoal by reaction with steam at a temperature of 900 centigrade to 1000 centigrade under controlled atmosphere in SLEP furnace.

3.Controlling the quality by the temperature which plays an important role in the process of activation.

4.Crushing the coconut activated carbon to be different particle as requirement.

5.Drying the coconut activated carbon.

6.Packaging.
