- Diatonic angklung is development of penttonic angklung such as angklung buncis, angklung badyu, angklung gubrak, etc.
- Angklung is a traditional music instrument made by bambboo (in Sundanes, called awi). Bamboo qhich usually be used is awi temen, awi wulung, awi tali and awi surat.
- The range notes of diatonic angklung is G (the lowest ) - C3 (the highest).
- The series of angklung notes is not different with note series of another instrument such as violin, piano, accordeon, etc.
- The tune is also standardized by using international standard which is A - 440.
- The diatonic scale is also completed by chromatic notes so it becomes a complete shcromatic diatonic scale
- There are 2 kinds of angklung which is melody angklung and rhythm angklung (accompagnement), which is arrende id : 1) Melody angklung (the range of notes is from G-C3 (angklung number 300. 2) Rhythm Angklung (Accompagnement) : Mayor and Minor Accompagnemetn, Mayor and Minor Co-Accompagnemet with the range of note is one octave higher than the accompagnement
