Javanese culture always accepts what seems foreign and different then somehow makes it feel very Javanese. In that spirit, the experiment done here to force-fit European and Japanese patterns behind the bedoyo dancers. Resulted in a composition very unique and different, and does not feel like every aspect comes from different places. Those 4 unique and gorgeous designs are Bedoyo Seikaiha (Japanese), Bedoyo Herringbone (European), Bedoyo Houndstooth (European), Bedoyo Kivet Dots (European).
