. With a modest capacity of 25,000 spindles, Indorama's spun yarn business has since then grown exponentially in Indonesia and globally with current capacities of over 421,000 spindles. A wide range of products for apparel, non-apparel, sewing thread and industrial uses are manufactured  . Indorama manufactures Cotton, Polyester, Rayon, Acrylic and Linen yarns as also various blends of these fibres. It is a leader in the production of speciality yarns such as Organic Cotton, Core-spun Spandex, Mélange, slub effects and Linen blends. Speciality yarns constitute over a third of the output. Indorama's spun yarns are widely used for knitting and weaving and for the manufacture of carpets. Indorama also has modern and fully equipped yarn dyeing facilities that helps meet the customer's preference for dyed yarns.
