Working thicker material requires more powerful tools. We designed and built the MF 3/7 to be able to perform with very thick material and to shape different scroll designs keeping this tool 100% manually operated. How we achieved this?……..By using a very powerful gear box which produces 350 NM of power,…. so we can easily live and work without any preheating of thick material – this saves energy, gas (forge), acetylene and most important it saves time!!! – The focus is on shaping perfect scrolls. Of course, with a little bit of technical knowhow you could also attach an electric motor to the gear shaft……some of our customer claim that an old 12V wiper motor would do a perfect job. By the way: The disc with the hexagonal shaft, where our central segment is mounted, is a perfect base for many other possible applications. E.g. using a disc (not part of our tool since you have to organise it yourself), the adequate thread borings to fit this disc onto our central segment carrier disc, you will soon realise that you can convert our MF 3/7 with a little bit of personal initiative into a ring roller, angle bender or even turning table for special welding issues………need more information?
