Description: TAM-4000 Multi-function Underground Cables Detector

Introduction:

Instrument can confirm laying direction and depth of the underground optical cables, electric cables, metal pipelines and confirm their sheath fault. It displays max 20m depth of optical cables and electric cables. It is digital direct-reading display and very convenient to detect fault in the environment which has complex underground pipelines, optical cables and electric cables.

Technology parameters:

1. Automatic detection: It will display cables’ real depth automatically when put instrument on electric cables’ directly above (vertical).

2. It has ohmmeter function and can detect external resistance and voltage.

3. Signal emission has 3 ways: direct method, coupling method and inductive method.

4. Direct-reading depth range: 0~20 meters.

5. Accuracy: ± 5% within 3 meters, ± 10% within 8 meters.

6. Optional frequency: output sinusoidal AC signal of 31 kinds of frequency.

7. Display: 3.5 inch, 24 colors, true color LCD. Back light is adjustable.
