Barito Pacific Timber Group has been experienced in the state of the art wood processing for more than 25 years and obtained the ISO 9002 certificate for quality management. The group was also recognized for its quality standards in accordance with JPIC, JAS, JIS, IHPA, BS and SMK3. More over, the group obtained the ISO 14001 certificate, which proves the group's commitment to environmental management in accordance with international standards.
The timber industries are in Kalimantan, Sumatera, Java and Moluccas. Total industrial plants in those islands are 10.
As an export oriented group, in the year 2000 the companies in the group exported more than 93% of their products overseas to Japan, Middle East, South Korea, USA, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Europe, Australia, Thailand and others.
