Sufficient units to be welded for protection on external hull
 
Tyre fenders
Sufficient lorry tyre fender around the barge and secured to chain and shackle to welded pad eyes on deck edge
 
Steel Fender
(5” + 3” x 9) mm doubler to be welded round the side shell deck edge
 
Double bollard
10 sets of double bollard, 5 nos ranged on each side of the barge
 
Manholes
1 piece per tank, comes with steel bolts and stainless steel nuts, non-flushed type
 
Towing Bracket
1 set to be welded at forward deck
 
Hull marking
Draft marks, ship name, plimsoll marks shall be cut and welded on the hull

Fitted on each side up to 12 ft height x 8 mm thickness steel plate complete with spaced I beam stanchions

Surface Preparation and Corrosion Prevention
Upon completion of fabrication at the yard, the external surface shall be blasted to SA 2 standard and paint applied as follows: 
One coat Hempadur brown
One coat Hempadur black
One coat A/F Classic (for bottom to lightship waterline)
